We are located on a private spring branch tributary of the upper Meramec River and have almost two miles of stream available for fishing. There is a wide variety of pools, runs, and riffles.

We stock trout daily. Our stockers run between one and two pounds. They like it down in the creek and eat and grow. The biggest one anybody's caught so far weighed nine pounds. We see a lot of three and four pounders (18 to 20 inches) every week. There are wild fish all up and down the creek. In fact we hold the bottom end of the creek as catch and release, fly only, water, to protect some of the wild guys.

There are two ways to fish here and that is what our fee structure is based upon. If you want to fish for fun and release what you catch we charge $40.00 for the day. If you want to keep what you catch we charge $5.00 per pound with a $40.00 minimum fee. We clean and package the fish for you. Tasty. Prices subject to change without notice.

Too preserve the quality of the stream and of the fishing we limit the daily number of anglers. For this reason we recommend making a reservation. 573-743-6555.

We no longer offer catch and keep fishing to those not staying
overnight in our cabins. We can accommodate a limited number of daily catch and release anglers.

We are open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sundays, form 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. We are closed on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesdays. Our season runs from the third Saturday in February till Thanksgiving.

You can fish with FLY, spinning, or bait casting rods. It doesn't matter to us. What matters to us is that you have fun and catch some fish. We have a small fly and tackle shop and are always happy to make recommendations, and, maybe, sell a fly or two.
